Project Prompt
Bringing Apple Music into the modern era with a fresh new desktop design.
Problem Statement
The iTunes desktop app has been around for a while, but there's still room for improvement. Here's my take on a reimagined iTunes desktop app, along with some thoughts on the current Apple Music feature.
Final Design Breakdown
Added a user greeting for a personalised touch to it.
Profile button on top for more customisation settings directly from the app itself and notifications button to not miss out on new releases, friend activities etc.
Revamped the looks of the menu bar to the left for a cleaner and modern look.
Slight layout changes for a better hierarchy.
Revamped the music player and adjusted its position.
Trending radio stations will appear at the very top.
More radio host recommendations right below of Trending stations.
Recently added songs will be shown on top for convenience.
Your favourite albums are placed right under Recently added songs.
Self-created playlists can be found after Albums

I believe having a listen history is a great way to keep track of the songs you’ve enjoyed. So, I added this feature to my reimagined Apple Music website:
Recently listened songs will appear at the top.
Followed by your all-time listen history.
